One of the most beautiful places in the world is Australia. What better way to capture the natural beauty and breathtaking landscapes than through photography.  Put those two things together and you end up with the Australian Centre for Photography. This fabulous Centre hosts a large range of events designed to expand one’s notion of contemporary photography.  With a large number of Gallery Talks visitors can hear right from the artists themselves all about what’s on exhibit in the Gallery. Curators also often contribute their understanding to the programs.

The ACP also sponsors Afternoon Teas, which are relaxed and informal panel discussions which usually focus on important issues affecting the world of photo media.  An additional innovative program sponsored by the ACP is the Talking Shop events, where respected and well-established photographers come to discuss their practice and goals.
